A running boy

I'm happy to report that this is the result of me working in the studio. I'm really thankful of my boss and senpai at work (who is now working elsewhere) for their guidance and patient in teaching.

I am using all the skills I have learnt there to assist me in my final project which is an animation under Cicak Goreng Productions.

At the moment I am unable to update my website but news and progress of my final project will be placed in the Cicak Goreng Production homepage under the 'Current project' tab.

Drawn in photoshop; animated at iaza.com.

Current Life: Hey, Another Movie

My current desktop:

Fesh n me
I gave the piece a lot of thought during the making but in the end, I couldn't convey it in my artist comment at DA
The lyrics on the left is 'Mein Gott'

So this sem, Nad-san asked for Aina-kun and my help with her scriptwriting movie.
Apparently, we're their cameraman....woman...whatever.
I'm also in charge of editing the whole thing once we finish the shooting.
ah...I've been getting a lot of praises for my editing on our last movie:
"Tan Sri Nak Kahwin Lagi"

which was screened during this sem's scriptwriting class - according to Nad
Oh! and following the line of thoughts as our roles, Aina-kun is director and I'm co-director again.
So...nostalgic
-_-;;

I'm really happy to be able to get into shooting and editing again.
But the problem now is, I want name for my hardwork.
I'm selfish like that - stop poking me

For our previous movie, Aina-kun had labelled us as Cicak Goreng Production
A stupid name but we're specializing in gag stories so it fits
So I want that label on this movie I'm helping them edit so that when our lecturer sees it, she'll recognize it as our work.
No matter how you look at it, it is the work of the Cicak Goreng Production
The production that consists of me, Aina-kun and Rieya-chan.
Rieya-chan isn't so involved in it this time but still...

I'm wondering how I can convey this to Nad-san.
This is her assignment after all
I won't get anything out of it other than probably more road trips and a free lunch or something so at the very least...

Sawa Rakan from Silver Diamond.

I just recently gotten hold of the fifth volume
Haha...so happy
The vines, I did it in Adobe Illustrator~ It's fun to be able to use it again!
This time around, all the colouring, drawing, textures and shapes are all my own!
It was hard work obtaining the textures but I'm quite proud that I no longer have to use others works to enhance my own

Let's improve in all fields!

Mein Gott Flash

Last Tuesday, in my Multimedia Authoring class, Aina-kun tinkered with my laptop and came upon my unfinished Mein Gott karaoke.
She was impressed, I must say and asked me a few things like:
How'd I make Prussia move, how did I insert the song, how did I time the words to fit the song.
I tried answering as best as I could and even offered to show how to her.

The unexpected came though when she suddenly stood up and loudly called for Ms. Xuan to see it.
I was very flustered!
The animations weren't right, the timing wasn't quite well and it wasn't even halfway done!
I tried in vain to stop her but she blocked me from reaching my laptop
The pains of being short!
and so, she showed it to Ms. Xuan
It's a bit like this:

It first started with a title flash "Mein Gott / Band version"
Before ^happens
With the same pictures, the words "It's fun to play alone" is revealed
"..." appears big and clear one by one

Then comes this

Ha. Ha!. The. Great. Me. Doesn't Care.
It appears one by one as well

One by one HAHA! comes to screen until a very big one covers the middle of the screen

"Let's Begin" appears
Himaruya originally drew a chibi!america but I retraced it to be chibi!Prussia

This is the first animation to appear.
Chibi Prussia appears from under below left screen, walks a bit forward and writes his name
Then he goes back.
I drew the animation myself, using lots of keyframes

Let the karaoke-ing begin!

This was from the third volume~!

Same here...most pictures are from Himaruya's own works.

Original picture by Himaruya was of Iggy
retraced to fit Prussia

Okay...I'm tired of screencaping. This was the other animation I did. It was of Prussia running from the left screen and dissappearing to the right.
There's more afterwards but...nah...
I'm too lazy.

So anyway, Ms. Xuan watched what I had done so far and she turned to me, asking, "Did you take Animation Technique?"
And I answered, "No."
and she told me she also taught Animation Technique and I should take it next sem.
W00t! Another semester with Ms. Xuan~! I can't wait!
I seriously like her class. I just do.
A few seconds later when I was just beginning to settle down and berate Aina-kun for getting me so flustered and anxious, Ms. Xuan came to me and held out her pendrive while she said, "Can you give me that vid? I like it. I might show it in (animation technique) class."
Can you imagine how I felt at that time?
I was speechless, happy, flustered, nervous, excited and pretty much just <333

On hindsight, it was all thanks to Aina-kun. She was rubbing it in my face BTW.
Haha...yes, thank you, Aina.

Real Face done.
And I found out I got Spain and China switched. Hyuhyu~
Ah well. Spain looks more in character with that pose...
.
.
.
.
.
.
I should finish that karaoke and never post it.

My Current Take

Uwah! Haven't updated this blog in forever~

It's pretty lonely anyway.

Just as an interlude for a long post about something from the past, I'll offer a bit of info on what's been going on around me currently.
At this very moment, I'm using Kak Su's laptop to get online.
This is due to hardware problems concerning the DC wire of my laptop. No one here shares the same DC wire type as I do so I am unable to charge it; let alone turn it on.
I am planning to get this fixed as I feel at an extreme lost without Taimu-san.
Tomorrow, I feverishly hope that the weather would be good and Rieya-chan would be fit enough to accompany yours sincerely to Low Yatt.
It's going to cost a bit of something.

Current issues aside,
I'm getting to the main topic here. Please bear with me~
During my brief return to home, I had managed to dig up an old comic I did while I was in high school. The fact that my drawing has changed and improved to a certain degree never fail to amuse me.
I am pretty sure very little now about the comic and even less still scarcely remember about it.
As plain as it was, the title of the story was "Special Child"
It was one of the three on-going stories that I did in my highschool years - the other two being a comic entitled "Elements Guardian" and the other a gaanaru doujin that I don't think I've ever properly given a title.
Special Child was as special to me as the name I had given it.
I first started drawing it when I was 15 if I wasn't mistaken and I had aligned grandeur ideas and plots for the story while it was in the making.
I was naive, amateur, thoughtless and selfish when I did it. I admit with no shame.
It moved too fast, there were too many plot-holes, the lead had a Mary-Sue tendency and by the second chapter, I grew anxious because it had begun to stray from the actual storyline.
Therefore, even with Shiro-kun pressing me to continue, I gave up.

Finding it back now, I can see some good points I had achieved when I did it.
For one, I had created a world of my own. A magic dimension - but a world nonetheless. It had its own science fiction and probably only needed a few more strings to pull it together.

Another thing that I can't seem to give up on being entirely awed was the characters I had set up for the story. As I had mentioned, I was naive when I started Special Child and probably should have known better but even then, and more so now, I had bestowed upon them a personality of varying degrees. I had also scripted their history and arranged their timeline to the best of my abilities. I gave them different views, conflicting sometimes, so that I had hoped people will be open to more outlooks and thoughts.
It amazed me how far I had thought just for the story - now that I'm looking back.
Special Child was something I had put a lot of effort in despite it being the last to come into existent out of the other 2.

As for the plot, it wasn't something I could be proud of, sadly.
I believe it needed more story and arrangement. It needed a proper setting and introduction. I had probably also lay off on the fanservice if it could even be called that.
I should also focus a bit more heavily on the background and the detail. Not to mention the action was scarce and the scenes jump a lot.

It needs work but it's not Game Over yet.

Just a main idea about the concept of the story:
Tsubaki Yuri is the illegitimate child of a Hanarie-born mother and Fusekie-origin father - Hanarie and Fusekie here would mean two types of living forces. She is the fourth 'Special Child' born and it is said that Special Child's can give birth to powerful offspring. However, this cannot be achieved without the consent of said Special Child. At least not until she turns the Hanarie adult age of 20-years-old.

And that's where her three bodyguards come in: Suzume, Tsubaki and Uguisu.
All three names are japanese words for certain types of birds
They have an oath from both Fusekie and Hanarie kingdoms to protect the child from people who wants to misuse her ability.

The story centers around Yuri but there are insights on the background of other characters.
Personality-wise,
Tsubaki Yuri is carefree, naive, gullible, kind-hearted, curious and some. She isn't physically strong and her magical abilities aren't trained well. She has the beginnings of a Mary Sue but I'm trying to develop her to be a bit conservative and deprived. What do you expect from being raised by men?
Musashi Suzume, or his real name Tsubaki Suzume, is the oldest of the three. As his name appears, he is actually Yuri's father. Due to many circumstances, he is a secretive person yet outwardly he can appear friendly, cheerful, positive and motivated. He was placed under a curse that traps his aging soul into a slow-aging body. He does come off sounding like a Gary Sue but he has his own set of dark characteristics and past that unravel throughout the story.
Hatake Tsubame is a no-nonsense type of guy and can probably work the sword better than a kitchen knife. He is loyal, strict, hardworking and dependable. He gets flustered easily when it comes to Yuri but as things are, everything is platonic. He is a good friend of Suzume but sometimes he just can't fathom what's going in Suzume's mind. That might be the fact that he can't really tolerate people who beat around the bush.
Hatake Uguisu is Tsubame's talented nephew. Not much of a genius but he's got talent when it comes to magic and fighting. He was the last to be recruited into the team and is learning magic from Suzume. He can be quite the prankster, having taken it from his father. Unknown to him, he is the product of a Special Child that was once also under the care of Suzume. That is why he's different from the other Fusekie's. He loves adventure and excitement but knows not to cross the line.

As for the antagonists...
I actually never got around to sketching the big boss but I did do a few.
Hikito Shoumi, whose original name was a cross between a DBZ character and an electrical appliance brand, is probably the most misunderstood creature to walk the earth. He is not evil per se but circumstances leave him with very little choice. He is family-oriented, caring, worry-wart and disorganized. He is Uguisu's childhood friend.
Hikito Nagiri is a man trapped inside a woman's body because of his own stupidity. He is Shoumi's younger brother with a bad temper. In a bout of rage, he had murdered their parents which in turned forced them to flee from their hometown. He is brash, street-smart, opportunist and slick. Because of him, Shoumi is forced to mingle with the darker side of the world.
Hikito Ryuhashi is the illegitimate child of Shoumi and Hatake Kurauchi, Uguisu's older sister. Terrified and shameful, Kurauchi wanted nothing to do with the child and had dumped all the responsibility on Shoumi. Closely after the birth of Ryuhashi, they had to run from the village. Despite living in difficult conditions, having to move around, Ryuhashi is surprisingly sheltered. He is timid, shy, gullible and can be quite childish.

Well, I've renewed their character sketch to keep my current style. When I can, I'll put it up here or on DA.

I think I'll be quite occupied for a bit~

Getting to it...

Because of my finals, I had to drop a lot of things.
So, here's about half of my collection of WIP that I'll hopefully have time to get around to doing.

I think this one takes priority above the others considering it's a gift art that was a prize.
However, this gift art took me by surprise as you see:
I am, by far, NOT a graphic design student.
I do NOT do portraits
I do NOT study about drawing or colouring in college.
Portraits are NOT, and probably never will be, my best skills
I am also in the process of grasping new colouring techniques By Myself.
This, however saddening, is half of the reason why I can't quite get it done yet.
I'm still trying to grasp the idea of a lineless artwork so this can be taxing.

Anis-chan's overdue request. This was from ages ago and I still can't seem to get it done.
My main problem is that the Don't Don music video is too dark and the quiality of the screencape is not really good. I DO want to complete this but it's going to take some time.

A request from a fellow dev to do Iggy's version of clothing meme.
As you can see, I also adapted the lineless style for this as I did with the Italy version
It's more time consuming as I saw it as an oppurtunity to do, at the very least, three characters in some slot.

This is supposed to ba giftart that I was going to add in the CD we were to hand in to our lecturer.
but I never could find time and energy to complete all the frills.
If you have noticed, this is also lineless.
It makes frills much harder, trust me.
This is not what I consider as portrait as I put more priority in the attire than the actual similarity between Rieya-chan and the girl above.

The reason I chose to do a lot of lineless arts nowadays is probably because it doesn't burden me with the task of lining. I don't fancy doing lining because I can barely draw a straight line using my tablet. Colouring it takes more time than usual and that's why in one day, sometimes I can come up with only two of these kinds of work.
Still, it's something new to me and I want to experiment with it more.
I'm still in the stage where I can't mix colour well.

Again, I am not a Graphic Design student.
I feel that I should focus on this point
I don't learn how to draw and colour in my classes and I probably will never get to. That equals to the fact that I learned how to colour - and probably draw better - outside of a condusive learning setting. In other words, I'm learning all this shit by myself.
So, I'm torn between two academically challenging lives
One side - the Multimedia side that is properly taught in class - and the other side - the Graphic Design side that is learnt out of observation.
I love both sides though and my Multimedia side always takes precedence because it costs the most.
Okay, done ranting about my life now.

THIS WAS WHAT HAS BEEN TAKING ME FOREVER TO DO
Curses.
It's for my MDP storyboard assignment.
It's done already though so it's not considered WIP
I'm not gonna tell you what it's about but the girl is my new OC
Her name is - for lack of better naming skills - Avia.

Aini's Tiring and Totally Random Midterm Week!

My midterm examination schedule was actually something like this:
3rd April – Audio-visual Technique and Malaysian Studies
4th April – Academic Reading & Writing II
5th April – Scriptwriting and Multimedia Design Principles

But I’m gonna elaborate on those later. First, we go back to a few weeks prior, when I was still an excited girl, thinking,

Bullshit
That dream was soon killed by Ms. Xuan’s innocent exclamation of

You can imagine my reaction

Yeah, sorry for my fail Japanese. It’s saying ‘ZetsuboushitaAAA’

Ms. Xuan. Sweet, strict, all-smiles Ms. Xuan who made my Hetalia-ness escalate because she’s from China, decided to make a replacement class on that study week holiday. I can’t imagine skipping her class
Yeah right.
Especially since she said

Actually, there were TWO replacement classes. On Monday and Wednesday so I basically had to forget any ideas of returning home at anytime during that study week for it just wasn’t worth it to return only for a few days. Tickets were expensive no matter how you look at it.
After class, I immediately called nee-san.

Consequentially, nee-san had planned to buy the ticket once she finishes class that day. It was pretty late and I was nearly afraid that she had already bought it.
Nearly, because if she had, I’d have no reason to stay in KL
Sadly, she hadn’t yet so I despairingly told her

Wait, what?
No, I told her that I couldn’t return home and she should buy her own ticket. We messaged later and she asked who I was going to stay with and I said Rieya-chan and she was like

Yeah, duh.
Turns out okaa-san won’t let her return if I was all alone here in KL. Since Rieya-chan and I went through all sorts of hell together this sem, she was also going to the replacement class so I would be bunking in her place. That eased nee-san I guess.
Didn’t ease me though.
Later that night, nee-san happily told me

That feeling of slapping someone silly has never grown so big.
The least she could do to ease my despairing heart was tell me that without such a big goofy grin on her face.
The next day though, I got a call from someone I didn’t really expect. It was nee-chan.
She called and asked me,

You cannot imagine how happy I was.

She told me I needed to do something in order to be able to go and I needed to do it the next day.
So on that fine and blisteringly hot Friday, Rieya-chan, who was urged to go out on a spur, and I began our journey earlier than usual. It took a good hour to get what I needed before we made our way to the appointed place.

Appointed place being the Astro building somewhere near Stadium Bukit Jalil.
I seriously have never gone that far in KL by public transport.
And I didn’t even know Bukit Jalil was listed as one of the LRT stops on the Star Line.
S-sama, who had been a great help to get those tickets
-I’m sorry. As it was a request from the great Okaa-san, I cannot disclose about the event here-
Had actually told me something startling as I was just about to begin my journey.

Yes, that meager amount startled me so much. When you’re a student in KL, particularly learning in a private university, every cent counts. PTPTN and MARA be damned. Especially PTPTN
Plus, I was paying for Rieya-chan.
Because I was the one asking her to go with me, I felt bad if she had to pay a sum of money for something that had nothing to do with her. I could only swallow thickly as I waited for my wallet to thin.
It never came.
We flagged down a metered cab once we reached the bus stand at Jalil Hill Stadium (lolz for translation) and I told the taxi driver to ‘bring me to Astro’. I think it was a pretty obscure address but thankfully he understood.
I was in awe (both in shock and amazement) when we reached the building. It turns out,

If he was actually Berwald a.k.a Sweden, I would’ve hugged him but he wasn’t so I didn’t.
I did what I had to do and later, Rieya and I returned.
And in the end, we missed the day’s lecture.
The next day, on that very busy Saturday, Rieya-chan and I – you’re gonna be hearing a lot of her in this entry - went to Low Yatt to get our laptop fixed. There was worry that the trip would wear me down because I had a big event that night but we went and did it too. I ain’t young for nothin’

Sadly, I can’t elaborate more about the event so I’ll have to cut that part.

Nee-chan spent the night over at my hostel and

The following morning, we went back to Low Yatt to install Adobe Master Collection. Rieya-chan looked really awesome when she managed to talk the guy into installing it for free on both of our laptops.
Nee-chan departed back to Kedah on the day and I said my goodbyes to her at Berjaya TS

She definitely is my own version of Prussia-sama
Nothing interesting happened after that as I was waiting for Monday to come.
Oh, but I managed to learn to play around in Adobe Premier.
Replacement class turned out to be quite okay and she most definitely gave tips. Everything was,

When we returned home, I told Rieya-chan that I’d bunk in hers that night and we separated at the lift. Once evening started rolling in though, my body felt uneasy and my temperature rose. The major indication of a fever coming down was my runny nose. So, I texted her to tell her I couldn’t come for fear of infecting her innocent self with my untimely germs. She tried to reason with me that it wasn’t safe staying home alone but I was adamant.
A runny nose was

No matter how you look at it.
The next day, I spent most of my morning lying in bed. It wasn’t such a good Tuesday for me and when evening rolled by, I got very hungry. Rieya-chan texted me that evening to invite me to her house since all her housemates have also gone home. I relented but also asked if she could accompany me to the night market. You could tell from her face that she felt sorry when she saw me in my dreadful state.
Every few minutes she’d ask, “Are you okay?” to which I lied.
Duh
Wednesday and Thursday passed with us locking ourselves in Rieya-chan’s house. I didn’t find out until that Sunday that our Wednesday replacement class had actually been cancelled.
Friday morning of the 26th of March began with a healthy me. The only remaining illness was my cough and I was jolly all over again.
No more sleeping for hours and feeling like there wasn’t enough sun! Thank you God! Thank you Rieya-chan! Thank you coolfever and Maggi’s Instant Porridge!
Ah, thanks okaa-san for the moral support!

That Saturday, I returned home and cleaned around a bit. Nee-san was returning that day. Gradually, so were the others.
Nothing worth mentioning happened that weekend. The midterm atmosphere was around but with all the classes I had, I barely felt it. Rieya-chan kept asking if I had opened my textbooks and I did become troubled for a while because I barely did. I tried though, that should earn me a few points on hard work.
So, back to that Wednesday; A-kun told me she was going to give me the script for our Scriptwriting class. When I met up with her, it was like I was seeing Alfred a.k.a America-san sick.

The thing is, A-kun is pretty loud and proud and she’s also a technical kind of person. There wasn’t a day in class that you don’t get to hear her voice at some point. She also has a lot of absurd ideas sometimes.
To put it softly, I was amazed.
She gave me the sickleave memo to give to Ms. Xuan and told me to come pick up my pendrive after class. She had yet to finish the script at that time.
So, Rieya-chan and I made our way to Ms. Xuan’s Audio-visual Technique class and she taught us how to edit videos inside Adobe Premier. She also asked to see the photovideo she told us to do as our third assignment. I was the only one who showed.
Here’s a few screencaps of my Hetalia-cosplay photovideo:

I used a hell lot of transitions and every single technique she taught and some. Because I chose the song ‘From Y to Y’ by Hatsune Miku, I did subtitles – something I actually figured out by myself because we hadn’t covered that part yet.
I didn’t know how to make the title cover in Adobe Premier so I used Illustrator instead.
My hard work earned me a 10/10.
You can’t imagine how proud I felt

Rieya-chan wanted to show hers and I, myself, wanted to see it since she’s been having trouble with Adobe Premier since forever. Turns out she forgot about the ‘source folder’. We were both really disappointed and she felt embarrassed throughout the whole class.
After that, I went back to A-kun to get my pendrive back. Along with it, she gave me the Celtx software, something to make scriptwriting much easier.
Thursday passed with a short Malaysian Studies quiz. Everything asked on that quiz was in our midterm exam. Rieya-chan and I were thrilled to have this ‘shortcut’
Shows how awesome our lecturer is.
I also took a look at Aina’s script and imported it into Celtx before doing a full editing to turn it into a celtx script format. The work felt kind of awesome. Here’s what the software looks like:

Okay, it needs major help. I so totally know but it’s not like I have movie scriptwriters as BFFs
That is my part actually. I wrote it.
A-kun wrote everything above it. If you read the entire script, it actually feels kind of like this:

In which, Rieya-chan is Iggy, A-kun is America and I’m the China with a laptop.
Yes, a laptop and it’s not even going to be mine.
And yes, pocong shuffle. Just because A-kun has seen it on youtube.
Okaa-san isn’t going to be proud

I’m supposed to be the one in charge of doing the camera shots. In our notes, that’s actually the job of the director. In other words, I’m unofficially the script director of this film.
So far, A-kun is most DEFINITELY our producer. She’s taking care of everything. From the casting, to the equipments and she’s even asking a friend to ask for permission to film on the bus.
She’s our HERO!
I feel really bad since she’s a really busy person and to top it off, she’s not feeling well. She fixes people’s laptops as a side job and is also in the MPP. To top it off, all the other assignments we have to do. It’s really a lot. Even I’m barely getting through my studies at the moment!
Enough about her, let’s get to the Friday after that.
Our last day before midterms start!

Oh kay…I’m actually pretty tired already from all the writing and prompt drawing.

Making Way to New Old Stuff

Well, whadd'ya know~
It's nearly 14th February already!
Chinese New Year means extra holidays to eveyone!
To those who have to work on Chinese New Year, like in Supa-ma-keto and konbini, don't sulk. You'll get a break soon.
As for nee-san and I, we also have a few losses for this year's Chinese New Year.
That is,
we won't be going back to our hometown.

Okaa-san did let us but I guess we had to firm ourselves up if we were to survive this month. Nee-san always enjoys making things a bit more difficult, so most of our money is being spent on food, transportation and college.
Such a kind sister, right?
Making us both go through hell as if there isn't any more penny left if we decided to go back.
I do believe we could go back and return and have enough to not starve but try telling her that.
But it's all in good intentions perhaps. Spending the holidays here would probably allow me more time to work on some of the stuff I've been delaying.
Like my scriptwriting, my audio-drama, my malaysian studies portfolio, my APH prompts and my fanfics. I would like to get back into writing, that is.

Anyway, a certain thing happened to me recently that is going to make me turn a new chapter in life.
The page has already turned perhaps.
On the 9th of February. 5 days before the so-called Buon San Valentino
Not that I ever celebrated that.
Doesn't stop me from making fanarts though ^^
It's not like that something that happened totally changed me.
Well, no. It could never change me because it didn't make any difference to begin with.

So tonight,
I indulged in a few new old habits.
You know SNSD's Genie?
I think fanboys with a uniform fetish would most surely like - no, love - this.
I have a small degree of uniform fetish but not on girls obviously.
It is a wonder though, since I don't really know this group, why I'm still enjoying a certain person's presence in the song.
I don't even know her name

She's the one I circled.
I'm too lazy to go search for her name but if you can tell me who that is, I'll photoshop something for you....or something.
Owh, please ignore Im Young Soo in that corner.
Just to keep up to date a bit, I watched the MV and live version of Genie. The leg work is really working the other way around for me. It kind of makes me want to blanch for unknown reasons. I guess reaction differs from one person to the other.
Why did I watch Genie?
Well, I want to learn to dance again.
You see, I've gotten fatter...and my backbone needs some straightening.
My stamina is also down.
Just doing saikyou pare parade has made me wither.
In other words, I want to shape up.
But, like, I'm not gonna do Genie. That's like just weird considering I dislike the leg work-out - and that thing's the main focus of the freakin song.
No, I'm going wayback and learn a few Wonder Girls chorus parts like Ee Babo and probably Irony. My 'Nobody' needs to be revised too. Just for the heck of it, I downloaded Jewelry's Baby One More Time. The chorus is freakin interesting to do I tell ya!

Well yeah, that's it probably. Also, I won't have internet.

Hobby has Never Been This Tough

Please inform me if there is any mistakes in credits.

Yesterday...
I experienced something quite akin to what I will feel once I enter the world of occupation
and I also went through my worst sugar-rush ever to date.
but later that night,
I figured it was one hell of a stress relieving day away from my assignments.
I think it was probably because I got to spend time with my sisters.

I had a pretty much hectic morning that Thursday.
Rieya-chan and I were going to have a presentation for our Introduction to Computer and Application subject. We tackled the subject of telecommuting.
I'm not going to elaborate much on that but I think we pretty much kicked ass a bit because we relied on notes and not just read off the slide like practically everyone did.
By a bit over half past one, I was already making my way through the sunny streets of Hang Tuah, passing the Pudu jail.
I met up with my older siblings at Berjaya TS' Chicken Rice Shop and managed to clear some of their leftovers.
T^T
Nee-san left for class after a short trip to the lo- I mean restroom
By 2:20PM, we headed down to Starbucks and took over two tables because of electricity socket issues

While passing down there, I managed to snap pictures of the gigantic christmas tree that they had put up in the entrance hall of TS

Here's Aneki and nee-chan outside of TS with an amazingly festive Merry Christmas sign

But because the place nee-chan had chosen inconveniently had a problem with its free socket, she consulted with the store clerk about using a socket that we had previously thought was used.
So we ended up making our makeshift workplace at one table.
The day before that, nee-chan had attended an HP event because of an invitation from nuffnang and she was given the task of blogging about the event.
To assist her, I was in charge of editing and crediting some of the pictures that she took there.
Read her cover of that event
[Here]
She sat beside me and was typing off on Aneki's laptop while I did my thing.
We spent hours there with me continously running off to the surau on 7th floor and ordering my sisters around.
I grumbled about wanting to drink some chocolate anything so nee-chan was forced to buy this super delicious chocolate chips ice blended smoothie that had whipped cream with chocolate topping.
One of those sugar-addicting drinks cost around RM15
0_o
but I guess it's Starbucks...so there should be no complaints about the price
but it was definitely WORTH IT!
My energy level went from 40 to 98 in an instant!
Through the duration of us staying there
(from around 2:40PM to 10:30PM)
I had 3 cups of those heavenly drinks and was burdened with urgings to hurry up and lessen on my editing
(my pride lies in my creations, dammit!)
It resulted in me getting a mentally retarded sugar rush.
I really, really forgot to have a semblance of shame ay one point!
and Aneki and nee-san(who came around at 6) weren't helping much by recording my retarded octopus dance.
WAAAAAAAIIIIIII Don't post it on the internet!
;A;
Nee-chan's friend, Ejay-san, came to meet her there and bought us sisters another cup of that chocolate smoothie *v*
He also sent us to Putra LRT Station with his car.
[Arigatou gozaimashita, Ejay-san. Gomen nasai mou]
I was being very loud by then, the sugar finally reaching my brains.
I pointed at random things and squealed in gibberish Japanese and was trying to remember Namikawa Daisuke's 'Tomato no Uta'
Somehow,
after "Aka agete midori sagete tomatomatomato hn!", my mind just blanked.

Later on, nee-chan mentioned that she felt very embarrased because of our casual loudness.
Hafiz-san picked us up from there and sent nee-san and I back to our condo.
I kept going [doitsu! doitsu!~<3] onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"
Also my external which is dutifully behind my laptop ^^
I...kind of look awkward holding my stylus but it's really not.
Also, as an early payment for a future design I'll be doing, nee-chan bought me a Honey and Clover OST
[kya~ domo arigatou!]

I guess that's all for yesterday's adventure.
