Silver Diamond Random Scanlations

These are just a few pages I tried to translate at the best of my abilities.

They're not 100% accurate, not even 80% accurate word-by-word but I believe they vaguely hold the same meaning.

I'm still waiting for a better scanlation but for now, let's enjoy some of the funnier parts of Silver Diamond vol  16

Oh, and some of them I'll provide the japanese text that I accumulated (it's hard not being able to type japanese welp) while I was working. Hopefully those who have a better Japanese understanding can correct me ^^ I really want to understand what they say.

These are only text of the 2nd and 3rd panel:

I left the last one from Narushige untranslated because it felt funnier that way. "Ack"
When I first did this I didn't know that the づけ in the 2nd panel meant 付 (affix). So the text untranslated in the Kazuhi's bubble is probably "-san affix?!"

This was too fun not to translate. The Touno brothers are so cute^^

I had trouble with Kazuhi's 「いやもっと フツ- ので呼でほしかったんだが」I think really got it wrong ^^;;;

みつば:「千銀さん」て呼んだ方がいいの? 「千艸さん」?
恵司: そ-いや年上って さんづけするモンだったっけ?
灯二: おまえら成重は「さん」で呼んでるじゃん...
みつば: あっいやそれは...
「お姉さんぽいから」

I probably got it wrong from the start. Welp! This one was the most confusing and since I don't really get the joke, that means I definitely translated it wrongly. Sorry!

I still have one page left that I want to try my hands on but for now this is enough probably^^

Because I couldn't translate the whole page, I made a few cuts. This is when they are trying to think up pseudo-names and Rakan asks them what would be a good one for Narushige

 Only Rakan thinks this of course. And to add a bit on this topic, this came in the extra:

Rather than 'nickname' I think I should have gone with 'pseudo name'. Google translate came up with mnemonic but...well.

fyi: They're just pressing foreheads together in order for Chigusa to transmit the image into Rakan's mind

This is a pretty normal occurrence in Silver Diamond actually.

Self Portrait in the literal meaning

I got very ecstatic today when I found out that youtube is working again on the TV so I played Hiimdaisy's Persona 4 comic dub over and over and over again.

It was pretty random but I took out my camera to get a picture of the working youtube.

As you can see above. Welp, messy house.

Lol, that was a weird moment in the story to capture of, but never mind.

Somehow, I was playing around with the settings to see which was okay with indoors. It's because tomorrow there will be Comic Fiesta and we're most likely to stay indoors.

So, it resulted in these:

I made use of the self-timer setting. It was difficult to have it stay static since I don't have a tripod but using a pail and my handphone, it worked somehow. That's why the POV is pretty low, I guess.

I also managed to play around with them in Photoshop. alskdjskldjals I don't know why but Photoshop suddenly decided to work again ;v; I'm so happy aaaaaaa-

There's like dozens more that didn't turn out good since I make such a lousy model but oh well

It was very unplanned, that's why I'm wearing just random clothes.

Maybe if I can do it again, I'll dress much better.

We went to mom's friend's house and two kittens were new additions to their family members so we had a load of fun squeeing and poking and playing with it.

In the end, no one managed to guess No.4 due to the fandom being quite small (seeing as the series has yet to be animated) but someone did manage to guess 9 of them right even though they named two only by series. 
It made me really happy because it means that my drawings are recognizable enough. I've seen a few others who also did this meme and some of them, when I looked at the answers, I was like 'o rly?' since I knew the character but could not recognize it. It's mostly due to the artist's style but...meh.


I chose to go with a 'sleep' theme, as you can see. It was fun coming up with their different poses. I tried to add an external feature that would help make them more recognizable. Like Gintoki's sword, Mikado's handphone, Tsuna's pet and Natsume's book of friends.


I'd like to try something like this again in the future

When I Feel Like I've Worked Hard

Also, I recently just noticed that Pixiv is more international friendly now. They have a 'global' option for the address. So, I think I'm going to work hard over there too from now on.

I've also been more active on DA lately but that's only because this is still sem break. I hope I can keep up this drawing streak for a bit longer. My skills have really went down when I had that hiatus.

I Want to Watch Lots of Stuff

The translations suck. I can't watch it without feeling like gauging my eyes out. It feels like they took the chinese subtitles, stuck it onto Google translate and try to feed us the crap it produces.

THE GRAMMAR

It doesn't help that Sanada Yukimura's classic japanese completely makes no sense to me. Kojuura makes more sense than him. Oh my god....

3 things I learn from this:

1 - I should heavily consider taking proper and formal japanese classes 
2 - Date Masamune's engrish is music to my ears.
3 - My sense of language is that, if the translation is not proper, I might as well not understand it all-together.

I sound like such a loser.

Anyway, I'm gonna laze around at home today like Bruno Mars 'lazy song' and imagine that I'm outside being a teenage.

(It's just that recently, I've been told that 'now I know why you don't shop like girls'.

I am really sorry for being this way; this recluse girl who's also an introvert and cannot conjure up a decent fashion sense to be acceptable in community. I'm sorry that I allow my mother to take care of my finances for me. I will work hard and get decent exam results so that I can imprint it on my resume and see it burn in the faces of my employers who would not like to hire a person with no decent work experiences.
