What a Wonderful World

Today, I noticed that Jin(behindinfinity) posted a new journal entry

She wrote:

I've been reading through the site and now I'm a tearful mess. My friends and I have strengthened our resolve to do more, to give more, and to always keep hoping.

Just wanted to make a quick post to share this. There must be a lot of people out there who ought to be reminded that the world is a nicer place than most of us might think.

[hugs everyone]

I'm in tears right now. My head hurts a bit but I feel so touched.
Please visit the site at one point in time and share it with the world.

If it can change someone, I hope they change for the better.

Night Market?

Yesterday, the day started well even if we did miss sahur and didn't get to fast.

Oh yeah, how's about those new shoes?
-_-;;
cheap one, lol.

Because I got fed up waiting for the T224 bus, I took the T223 one to Titiwangsa and hopped on the tren. This one is the monorail station taken from the tren platform to Sultan Ismail.

There was one big abandoned building right next to it. I wonder if Titiwangsa is haunted because normally abandoned places tend to gather those things.
I wonder why it was abandoned in the first place.

Anyway, today there was the weekly pasar malam in Taman Dato' Senu and we wanted to give it a shot. My class finished at 6 so everyone had to wait for my return before we all headed out. I was feeling quite drained actually but at the thought of us going out together like this made me hyper again.

Kak Su and Alang just as we were heading out.

Anje made a grab for me and we were hollering around like idiots who had never stepped outside. I don't know where she got that craziness from.
*looks away*

It was closed but they sold fruits and fried stuff here in the day.
Students buy from here often just before they pass the gate.

The evening was a splendid one and I really like how this photo turned out.
I was walking, well because of Anje, we were practically marching, when i took this.

Alang and Kak Su as well as Kak Long in the middle. They lagged a bit behind because Anje and I were new recruits from crazy camp and found the need to march ahead like jovial kids from lala-land. If it wasn't for me stopping Anje somewhere along the way, I bet we'd totally seperate from the group.

The traffic was pretty busy along that road.

This is truly a sight that saddens me. I hate the unhygienic mindset our people has. I truly despise it. What is so wrong with proper elimination of waste?

There was soccer practice on the field behind Anje. Under the pretense of capturing her 'peace' picture, my true objective was to show those sweaty boys in the background.
*nauseous feeling*

There were a lot of things sold there. Like kids' transportation(lol, wth?)

mini study table

pillows

bags

plush toys

assortment of water and a whole bunch more. There were also mini pizza and yong tau fu? I dunno. There was just so many things sold there (like any random pasar malam)

We had honey chicken wings for dinner and supper. Kak Su helped buy it for us. She had such a great customer aura that day.

Mini conference while waiting for the guy to pack the food

She also bought some chicken's chest for a friend of hers. Customer aura: 100% on!

Alang and Anje, while we were waiting for Kak Su to buy the chickens.
There was a picture before this of a candid Alang but I couldn't post it up here because I was afraid it might humiliate her to some degree.
Candid photo is candid.

When we went in deeper, we saw tudungs! Of many variety.

The natural effect the phone camera had. It gives off a very 'action' feel to it. It was like Kak Su was rushing through the street.
Please keep your eyes above the waistline. Thank you.

A shirt I would never dream of buying but still looks nice.

For sahur, Kak Long bought something from here and it tasted alright.

Dinner commences! Strange brown and green appetizers

The honey chicken wings and John bread.
(lol, john bread sound off)

They even made milo water that we added with the 50 cent ice.

Something to look forward to in August other than Ramadhan, Sem break and Independence(sp?) Day!

Hoshino Katsura-sama!
Please don't do something like that again

Sarcasm Failz

And so! Nee-chan said she took this from a friend and tagged anyone who wants to do it.
Like me!
Yay!

Objective: Are you mean and sarcastic? Have you ever answered people ‘meanly’ and sarcastically? If yes, show us how mean and sarcastic you are! If no, then you should try at least once in your life with this note.

Rule: Respond to these as sarcastic/mean as you could. (YR stands for Your Response.)

If an annoying person says:
1) I am cute.
YR: Lying is bad

2) I am the most beautiful/handsome.
YR: You must've never seen a mirror...and an English teacher

3) See, everyone likes me because I am rich and famous!
YR: I don't

4) Unlike you, I am perfectly multi-skilled. I do everything very well from sports to academic thingy.
YR: Thingy? Are you still in preschool?

5) You don’t know me? I am Bruneian artist; I have albums.
YR: You mean albums that never sell?

If an annoying hot woman/man says:
1) I know you like me.
YR: I know you're delusional.

2) What are you looking at? I am not interested in you!
YR: Um, can you move to the side? You're obscuring the view.

3) Sorry, you are nice but seriously not my type!
YR: you're bad and I despise types like you.

4) UNLESS you are rich, then don’t dream that I will get a ride with you!
YR: Even if I was rich, I'd rather ride with a cow

5) Look, I am pretty/handsome; I can make people hate you!
YR: And I'm smart; I can turn the situation around.

If an annoying extremely ugly woman/man says:
1) I think you and I can make a good couple.
YR: I think you're nuts

2) May I have your cell phone? Please please please?
YR: No, I don't feel like giving it to you

3) Hi, wanna hang out? I want you to be with me the whole night.
YR: I'd rather you disappear from my sight for an eternity

4) What do you like about me?
YR: That period of time when you don't disturb me.

5) I want you to say that I am pretty/handsome and you like me sooooo much!
YR: I wonder what mental illness you have.

If your enemy says:
1) Hi bitch!
YR: Hmm...I don't see any female dogs around here.

2) You smell like shit!
YR: You smell like you're made of shit...and look like it too.

3) What an ugly creature you are!
YR: Ever heard of a mirror?

4) I am going to kick your ass in this race for sure!
YR: I bet you'd lag so much I wouldn't even see you an hour after I get to the end.

If your annoying ex says:
1) I still love you...
YR: reciting for a play?

2) I know you still love me!
YR: What in all hell gave you that idea?

3) Please, go back with me honey/hubby.
YR: If we're going the same way.

4) Please call me...
YR: Waste of my phone bill

5) The break up hurt me so much.
YR: Take aspirins.

If an annoying salesperson says:
1) Wow! You are so pretty/handsome!
YR: Heard that one a million times already.

2) Seriously, I used this product and I've changed!
YR: Let me guess, changed to the worst?

3) We are giving a discount up to 50%!
YR: Just 50%? *leaves*

4) This one is good sir/madam. Buy sir/madam, buy.
YR: If you write me a thesis on why this is good, I'll consider

~~~~
Yeaaaaaaaaahhh!!!!
I'm not so mean am I?
I'm a really, really nice person~
Paranormal Activities
UUuuh~~
Does the title excite you?
This will be...an image-less entry!
Because I'm using Kak Long's laptop at the moment.
And the story goes!
You see, things have been happening everywhere.
It wasn't just us, it seems.
Before that, let me tell you in on a rumour that has been passed around:
Block A was a building that had been left unsupervised for a long time before the management finally arranged for the building to complete and started having residents in. There were rumours about suicide cases.
Long story short,
That place is the most haunted!
And those things are starting to transfer here.
There's already a hunted house on level six that somehow, even when there's no one, will still have the lights on and no matter how many students they send to live there, will have some non-pranormal reason to move out.
Because the boys stay in Block A, they've seen things far worser than the girls.
As much as it would be exciting to let you in on the story, it might make you quesy.
Our home, Alhamdulillah, has only received very minor disturbances.
Very, very minor.
A play of the light is what I'm hoping.
Kak Ngah had someone playing with her feet,
Anis saw a person in white clothes
It might even be one of the residents -_-;;
and I've only seen a white triangle.
I'm VERY thankful that our house is blessed enough to not suffer little gremlins running around
-oops, said it-
I hope we don't have to encounter anymore of those things.
We're already neck high with our asignments and other daily issues that this problem is just getting troublesome.
Student for Free Entrepeneurship
And so, the other day, okaa-san came to KL.
*goes crazy*
Uwa~Uwa~ I miss her so much!
Her university entered this year's Malaysia's SIFE competition.
(Hn? Hn?)
Because okaa-san needed to be there to show her support and as an advisor, she couldn't leave the place. So, I went down to PWTC to see her.
Prior to that, I asked several people how to get to PWTC and it seemed that it was only minutes away from Chow Kit or something. I took the tren though, I couldn't actually rely on my broken sense of direction. A close classmate of mine told me to take the taxi but because the taxi is like the shinkansen(bullet train in japan), my wallet told me to take the more public transport.
Luckily, you can see PWTC from the entrance of the LRT station.
Okaa-san even came out to fetch me
*warm feeling*
Anyway, I went to see the SIFE groups from various universities go against each other. There was:
SIFE UUM
who although did a very good presentation was just up against a stronger competitor.
SIFE KLMU
who won the Rookie Award (Congratulations!) for their strong presentation.
Though I must say...what is with that ghastly scarf around the girl's neck? Is that the image we are supposed to present?
*sudden panic*
SIFE UiTM
a good competitor and also managed to get 2nd place.
Congratulations.
I convinced Seobang to join if SIFE starts to get into his UiTM. Teehee
SIFE UMS
Who I couldn't help pay many attention too because of their presentation.
Also, I'd like to congratulate them for winning. Looks like Germany is in your agenda?
SIFE UTP
I don't remember. One of the finals?
This was during UMS' Question and Answer in the finals. It was very interesting and left me amused. They received a standing ovation. I noticed that one of Okaa-san's international students seemed really interested in their presentation and he was really enthusiastic about clapping for them.
Could it be just my imagination?
They did just lost to these people.
Okaa-san's team. We were sitting right behind the judges. I felt really self-conscious.
Hehe.
Final Product of Illustrator Assingment
^back and front cover.
My lecturer fixed it and advised me to fill YUI's advertisement with something else. I think it looks better this way.
^inside the mag.
Not much changes except for the N*5 Chanel advertisement. I think Heechul makes it look more grand
*beams*
Next week, we're really going to learn InDesign and hopefully get our magazine done.
The content of the magazine will be my final exam of some sort so I'm looking forward to working my butt off and filling it with quality and quantity.
The min number of pages needed for the assignment is 8 but I'm planning to put a poster or two so I have to make it either 12, 16, 20 and so on pages.
I'm currently gathering information on cosplay in general and stuff that I put as highlight on the front cover.
I want to show you these awesome cosplays that I found while I surfed the net:
A Gunther cosplayer from the anime series "Kyou kara Maou"
The atmosphere of the picture and the pose reflects Gunther's dramatic character somehow.
I've had this picture since forever because I really like it
Gintama
Fullmetal Alchemist's Edward Elric.
The confident and strong image really reminds you of the character
I absolutely love how the wind played so perfectly with the hair.
D.Gray-man's Kanda Yuu.
I absolutely love the uniform!
Looks like a real doll doesn't she? Human though.
A cosplayer from China
for no series though (original cosplay)
D.Gray-man's Allen Walker
Personally, I think western cosplayers are more suitable to do Allen (regarding facial structure) but Cosplay is a fun hobby so it shouldn't matter. The awesome crowned clown hand really kills me
